Research Data Management Strategy: Home

Home

The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) (the tri-agencies) have launched an initiative underlining the importance of properly stewarding research data. As part of this they require that all eligible institutions develop a Research Data Management (RDM) strategy by Mar. 1, 2023. https://science.gc.ca/site/science/en/interagency-research-funding/policies-and-guidelines/research-data-management/tri-agency-research-data-management-policy

Coast Mountain College recognizes the importance of RDM and proper stewardship of data, and has created this strategy and will continue to develop and refine it and any RDM practices, policies, and procedures.

The Dean of Business, Access Education & Libraries is responsible for Applied Research at Coast Mountain College, including Research Data Management.
